Greetings!
Today is Valentine’s Day, and it’s actually the first Valentine’s that I’m celebrating while not being single. Kind of surreal to realize this, but I love it all the same (no Single Awareness Day for me, haha)!
This is also the first Valentine’s Day together with my partner, J: we booked a nice dinner for the two of us, and even though it’s during the work week, I left work early so that we could have the dinner early to sit back and enjoy every moment of it. We booked at one of our favorite restaurants in LA that we’d gone to a few months prior (and absolutely loved it)– it’s a bit pricey, but for the incredible, top-notch quality of food and beautiful ambiance that evokes the quintessential LA, it’s worth the splurge.
We’ve been together for nearly 10 months now, and it’s wild that time has flown by. Despite the ups and downs so far, we’re still in it together, taking it slowly one day at a time. I truly cherish being with her, all the warmth and affection that draws us close through it all. Wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world.
