It’s another year of Halloween– I’m not a fan of the holiday, as I’ve outgrown trick-or-treating, and I never was that into dressing up in costumes or watching Halloween-themed films (and I DETEST horror movies). But for those who actually like the holiday, the more power to you…
Several houses in my neighborhood had put up Halloween decorations earlier this month, and it looks like trick-or-treating will resume this year. The pandemic last year had put a damper on the activity, but I expect children to be roaming the streets tonight to get their candy. My home will not be participating in handing out candy, as we’ve done in the past decade, so we’ll be shutting off the lights and not answering any doorbell rings. Not like the kids need more candy to get them hyperactive, anyway…
Glad that tomorrow will be November (seriously, where has the year gone??). For those who are celebrating Halloween, enjoy the festivities and stay safe!

There’s never enough fun around, even if I’m not a big fan, I like the festive atmosphere, it’s a change from more ordinary times.
Fair point! Personally, I would rather wait for the winter holidays (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas) to have fun!
