Harsh, but somewhat true…^
Welcome to the first day of April. Along with that, Happy April Fools’ Day (or not). To put it bluntly, I’m not the hugest fan of the holiday– in fact, it’s one of my least favorites of the year.
…not to say that I don’t like jokes, but I don’t like practical jokes: they’re embarrassing and immature, and they can at times physically-hurt people. From slamming doors against someone’s nose to blasting a horn in front of their ear while sleeping, such jokes are not funny at all. Never got why people find them so funny, and so I avoid such situations like the plague on this specific day.
I’ve written about my dislike for April Fools’ Day a few years ago, but in any case, I’ll most likely be enjoying my day off from work today, as it also happens to be Easter today. Granted, there’s lots of work to catch up on, so I can’t *completely* chill, but at least I don’t have to head to the office and deal with people today (as the natural introvert that I am).
All the same, enjoy the first day of April, and see you soon!
