Back from Vacation (for now!)

Yes, I’m finally from my week-long vacation from work. While I did do some traveling during my break, I’ve *technically* been back since last Tuesday on Halloween. All the same, though, I took the rest of the week to repose myself, as well as caught up on work for teaching and attended a few nights out with my friends in town.

Any case, I’m back, and I’ll be recounting my travels during this week for your pleasure. Similar to last year’s October break, I didn’t go very far, let alone very long, for vacation– in fact, I just stayed within the Lyon region in France, where I’m currently based for work. I spent about five days in Lyon, visiting the city and making day trips to nearby towns. While it wasn’t the typical, grand Euro-trips that I’ve done in the past, this break turned out to be a great opportunity to discover a bit more of what my region had to offer, all the while saving a bit of money!

As for the title of this post, I wrote “for now” as means of telling you that this is just a temporary return from blogging. Don’t get me wrong: I’ll be writing consistently these next few weeks, but soon enough, I’ll be heading out again for some more travels, which will be a bit more extensive– of course, I’ll let you know when the time comes.

In any case, expect the travel posts for the October holidays to come soon– until then!
