The Unique Blogger Award #2!

Hello, bloggers!

Last week, Jen from GypsyBus28 nominated me for The Unique Blogger Award, which I’m happy to accept! Besides being one of my favorite bloggers, she’s also supportive of other blogs out there, which is incredibly admirable and it goes to exemplify just what a true blogger is in the blogging world. Also love her posts on travel, beauty, and just about everything in between. Thank you so much, Jen!

This isn’t the first time I’ve done The Unique Blogger Award, but all the same, I love doing these kind of posts, so I can’t complain! Here are the rules:

The Rules:

  • Share the link to the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
  • Answer the questions.
  • In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 15 people and notify them.
  • Ask them three questions.

The Questions:

1. What are you afraid most?

Trite as it sounds, death is a given. Although I’m aware that we’re all meant to die at some point in life, the uncertainty of it terrifies me. That’s why I’m a firm believer of enjoying life to the fullest, despite the seemingly mundane routine of the every day. Do things that make you happy, and death will follow peacefully.

2. What’s your best experience on WordPress?

Two things: connecting with lots of other incredible bloggers and watching my blog change and develop over the years. I’ve gotten to know so many people of all ages, nationalities, and opinions, some of which never cease to amaze me with their effortlessly-written posts that make me think, make me laugh, and make me appreciative of the blogging community.

On the other hand, for me blogging for almost four years, I’ve come to find that I’m truly interested in writing about, and instead of writing for the sake of impressing others, I do it because I like it. Getting “likes” and comments are secondary, as it’s more important to be proud of what you write instead.

3. Do you read more than 1 book at a time?

Having picked up reading (for fun) again this summer, I’d say that I sometimes read two books at a time, especially if I’m really into the ones I pick out. However, I try to focus on one each, since then I can focus more on the story at hand, rather than have it compete with others in the recesses of my brain.

…and there you have it! While I do have some bloggers whom I’d like to nominate for this award, Jen has already nominated them, so I’ll pass it on this time. Thanks once again, and I hope you have a great day. πŸ™‚
